‘Star Wars: Darth Maul – Death Sentence’ Announced!
Raaargh! As announced by The Force.net and Rebel Scum, the next Star Wars series I’m writing is ‘Darth Maul: Death Sentence’ – coming July from Dark Horse comics.
I’m having a great time writing Maul and Savage. These brothers are responsible for probably my highest ever CPP (carnage per page).
I noticed the artist hasn’t been announced (so I won’t say anything here) but I’ve seen the first few pages and they’re great. Can’t wait for the interwebs to see a preview. Until more is announced, here is this stunning cover by Dave Dorman. This is the first cover to grace one of my comics that I couldn’t have as my desktop wallpaper. My son was too scared by it (well done, Dave Dorman).
STAR WARS: DARTH MAUL–DEATH SENTENCE #1
By now the galaxy has learned the terrible truth: Sith Lord Darth Maul still lives. Worse, he has joined forces with his brother Savage Opress!
The Jedi are searching for them and, after Maul and Opress cut a murderous swath through the Outer Rim, so is an army of mercenaries hired by a wealthy mine owner.
Darth Maul has a price on his head, and for him there is only one way to deal with such a problem: go directly to the source!
Death Sentence #1 is on sale July 25, 2012. Written by Tom Taylor (Invasion) and cover by Dave Dorman (Dark Empire, Crimson Empire)

He has sent Luke Skywalker on a quest and taught Darth Vader a lesson.
He has juggled knives for billionaires and eaten fire for passers-by on the street.
He has written for film screened in California and radio aired in Melbourne.
He has won many awards for his writing and lost many of his indoor soccer finals.
He is the father of two and the husband of one.

I can’t wait for this to be out in bookstores across America!! Hopefully Barnes And Noble will have this
Though I don’t want my favorite Sith Lord to die yet… Anyway can’t wait
I’ll try really hard not to kill him. No promises though.
