My first story for 2000 AD – 15
My first 2000 AD story is about to appear. Next Wednesday, the 22nd of August, sees the start of ’15′ – the story of a man trapped in a building-sized war-bot, on a battlefield, with 15 minutes of oxygen.
The story is illustrated by Jon Davis-Hunt and what I’ve seen of it looks fantastic.
Here’s a sneak peek at page 1.
2000 AD was one of the only comics you could buy in newsagents in Australia when I was growing up, and buy it I did. This was one of the comics I was raised on, and it’s amazing to have now written something for this book. I’d like to thank the Mighty Tharg for the opportunity. Zarjaz!
Crazily, this will mean that I have work out through 5 different comics publishers this year.
Not bad at all.
