The making of our 2000 AD cover. Tentacled-robotic-death-match.
With our 2000 AD story, ’15′, ending in 2000 AD prog 1799 today, I thought I’d share a few images from the making of Jon Davis-Hunt’s cover to Prog 1798, which featured our story.
The full making of can be seen right here http://2000adcovers.blogspot.com.au/2012/08/jon-davis-hunt-invasion-of-gabber-robots.html
Here’s how a sketch became a multi-toothed, multi-tentacled, robotic-death-match.
It’s going to be a huge month. 15 ending today, the Rocketeer Adventures hardcover out next week, and Darth Maul: Death Sentence #3 out later in the month along with the Rose and Thorn one-shot.
On top of the comics coming out, I’ve just handed in a full graphic novel script for Gestalt Publishing, two scripts for IDW, and I’ve begun a very large project for DC.
Busy. Busy. Busy.
