A Star Wars Invasion on your iPad!

Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

Yes, this Wednesday, as well as being able to pick up the print version of Star Wars: Invasion – Revelations #2, the digital version of #1 will be available via the Dark Horse App.

This will be the first comic I’ve written which will be properly formatted for reading on the iPad. I’m looking forward to seeing the results with a lot more of my work set to feature in this format very soon.

And, with the exclusive preview of Revelations #2 being up at CBR, that means more incredible Colin Wilson images will soon appear on the iPad like this…

So, be sure and pick up Revelations #2 and get downloading.

And please remember to pick up The Deep: Here Be Dragons if you haven’t already.  It came out last week. It’s good. People say so. And people are always right.

Star Wars: Invasion returns with ‘Revelations’

Thursday, July 7th, 2011

Yes.  Star Wars: Invasion has arrived with the new story arc ‘Revelations’.

And the official Star Wars site has an exclusive preview of issue #1 where Colin Wilson sends Luke Skywalker into battle against impossible odds.

Right here – StarWars.com

Epic battles. Betrayal. The Yuuzhan Vong. The Empire. The Galfridians. A secret weapon that could spell the end of the galaxy and more twists than you could poke a double-bladed lightsaber at.

So big we had to do it twice. Yes, two covers! Revelations #1 comes with a cover by our new cover artist, the always brilliant Chris Scalf (artist on Star Wars: Blood Ties), and a special variant by the great Dave Dorman, to mark the 25th anniversary of Dark Horse comics.

And don’t forget, coming in the next few weeks – The Deep!

Star Wars: Blood Ties – Begins This Week! Check Out The Preview

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

It’s here!

The first Star Wars: Blood Ties miniseries ‘A Tale of Jango and Boba Fett’ hits shelves on Wednesday (Thursday in Australia).

There has been a lot of early interest for this book, and Dark Horse promoted it at the recent Celebration V Star Wars convention with Boba/Jango flip masks for fans.

As well as this interview here, I’ve done interviews with IGN and Techland (the geek blog of Time Magazine) which will be appearing in the next few days, and more are being requested.  The previews are all over the internet and early praise for Chris Scalf’s work is well-deserved (I know, I’ve seen what comes next).

Click the pic below to check out the preview at Dark Horse…

Daniel Logan (Young Boba Fett) and I recently hung out at a couple of conventions here in Australia.  It’s been a lot of fun putting him through all of this in the book.

Star Wars: Invasion Preview Pics And New Interview

Saturday, February 14th, 2009

Randy Stradley, my friendly all-knowing editor, has just been interviewed over at Newsarama.  The guy I tend to have back-and-forth emails with at 4.00am (stupid time difference), has also used this interview to show some more preview art.  Colin’s work on these images is just amazing and Wes Dzioba is doing a brilliant job on the colours.

I’ve been at Colin’s today and I’m really looking forward to the day when people get to see what we’re producing now.
